
On reflection - a different view of York Minster
I've photographed York Minster from every conceivable angle. I've been inside, outside, underneath, up towers, inside hidden passages, looked down from a hot air balloon, shot it from miles away and from inches away. But I'm always drawn to reflections, not just of the Minster, but of any subject. York Design Awards
The York Design Awards recognise great architecture by encouraging and promoting excellence in design and conservation. I've photographed the awards a number of times and am also a sponsor, which means I get to see first hand, some of the amazing work produced by architects and designers. I've also photographed many of the entries for architects, developers or builders, so it was great to see my architectural photography on display in the foyer and during the presentations. T

Small but perfectly formed
This was a shoot for architects Mass Architecture. They had quite a challenge on their hands, turning a former public toilets, nestled in York’s city Walls, into a retail unit and new toilets. Georgian Elegance
I was delighted to get the job of shooting St Leonard’s Place, for developers, Rushbond plc. This grand, but dilapidated georgian terrace had been the offices of York Council for many years, and over many years, it had been stripped of much of its character, with rooms unsympathetically divided, knocked through, or just left in a sorry state.
